Loretta Carruthers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta Carruthers of Quinby, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2026 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loretta Carruthers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Carruthers; her parents, Paul Wesley Wallace and Eloise Taylor Wallace; her daughter Lynette LeCato; and her siblings, Joyce Bright, Donnie Wallace, Bobby Wallace, Micky Wallace and Dickie Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Churn (Chuck) of Seaview, VA, Bill Thornes (Kathy) of Quinby and Bobby Thornes of Quinby. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
