She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Margaret Ray. She is survived by: her father Guy Anderson Ray (Jean); her husband James Thomas "Tommy" Palmer; her daughters, Hannah Palmer Maxwell (Bobby) and Jessica Layne Kennedy (Patrick); her brothers, Joseph William Ray and Guy Anthony Ray (Sandra); and her grandchildren, Emma June, Mary Ryan and Samuel Ray. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Affinity Funeral Service – Richmond Chapel (2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
