She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Carter and Doll Hubbard; and her brother Michael Buford (Joyce). She is survived by: her husband Christopher Lewis; her brothers, Clarence Carter (Marila) and Perry Carter (Sholanda); her children, Christopher Lewis (Shannon) and Casey Starks (Cedric); and her grandchildren, Cassidy, Carter and C. J.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
