He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred McCoy and Kitty McCoy; his wife Terry McCoy; and his brother Jimmy McCoy (Susan). He is survived by: his children, Kelly (Stephen), Kate (Josh), April (Gary) and James; his grandchildren, Austin, Morgan, Parker and Spencer; his great grandchild Curtis; and his cousins, Nancy and Jay.
