She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Reid and Clara Hill Smith; her husband John James Hunter; and her sister Nancy Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Hunter (Frances), Susan Huff (Alfred), Mark Hunter (Becky), Jeffrey Hunter (Debi), Carol Andrews (Calvin) and Ricky Jackson (Kathy); her grandchildren, Marceline, Griffith (Kelly), Lindsey (Zach), Emily Kait (Caroline), Megan (Austin) and Lexie (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Ayriana, Demitrice, Emma, Layla, Nora and Hunter. She is also survived by many other family members and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grove United Methodist Church, 1020 Tyler Avenue, Radford, VA 24141.
