He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Franklin Jones and Sarah Rose Fertitta Jones; his wife Lisa Carol Spence Jones; and his siblings, Nancy Jean Jones, Patricia Ann Jones and Alvin Franklin Jones.
He is survived by: his son Nathaniel Wayne "Nathan" Jones, Jr.; his mother-in-law Jacqueline Anne Myers Spence (Pulaski); his sister-in-law Ann Spence Bentley (William); and his mother-in-law Carol Roark (Robert).
