She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Charles Gerolstein and Mary Agnes Takacs Gerolstein; and her husband Charles Christopher Semple. She is survived by: her children, Chris Semple (Denise), Tim Semple (Nancy), Jen Mooney and Jill Torbeck (Ken); her grandchildren, Sean Semple (Heather), Ryan Semple, Megan Thompson (Brandon), Colin Semple (Shaina), Cooper Semple, Evan Mooney (Erica), Katie Mooney (Riley Murtagh), Jake Semple, Abby Minic (Tomislav) and Andy Schlichting (Reagan Shourds); her great grandchildren, Ella, Lily, Phelan, Evelynn, Aidan and Asher; and her brothers, Philip Gerolstein (Joanie) and John Gerolstein. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (210 4th St, Radford, VA 24141).
