We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2025, at the age of 83, Thedore Richard Saunders of Radford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Thedore Richard's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Morton and Reba Mae Saunders Morton; and his brother Mordore Saunders. He is survived by: his uncle Nathaniel Saunders; his caregiver Destiny Coleman; and also, Sai'Mere Jones and Dee Billings. He is also survived by other family members and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mullins Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Radford, VA 24141). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
