He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Mary Katherine Tallant; his wife Mary Ellen Tallant; and his brothers, Johnny "J. C." Tallant and Eugene Tallant.
He is survived by: his children, William Malcolm Tallant, Jr., Velma Katherine "Kathy" Price and Eugenia Rosemary Akers; his grandchildren, Leslie, Christinia, Ryan, Crystal, Courtney, Tiffany, Mandy and Andrew; and his siblings, Charles William Tallant, Jr. of Pulaski, Louise Robbins of Radford and Barbara Akers of Dublin. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
