He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mangus Koogler and Leslie Ann Lamb Koogler; and his siblings, Lewis, Vincent, Lyle, Melvin, John, Elmer Koogler, Evelyn Harris, LaRue Baber and Emily Swab.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte H. Koogler; his children, Glenna Koogler and Ronnie Koogler (Mary) of Hilton Head; his brothers, David Koogler (Margie) of Texas and Tommy Koogler (Gaytha) of Staunton; his former wife Dorothy Koogler of Staunton; his grandchildren, Tiffany Sutton of Verona, Derek Taylor (Pauline) of Buena Vista and Lara Smith (Chas) of Charlottesville; and his great grandchildren, Autumn and Robin Smith of Charlottesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
