He is survived by: his wife Doris Esther Buchanan (Ritchie) of Raphine; his children, Timothy Buchanan of Monroe, VA, Tony Buchanan (Pam) of Fairfield, Eric Buchanan of Spottswood, Rusty Buchanan, Debbie Burns (Robby) of Stanley and Sheila Kyger (Christopher) of Steeles Tavern; his brother James Franklin "Frank" Buchanan of Raphine; and his grandchildren, Tyechia, Cody, Anthony Chase, Jamie, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Christopher, Krissa, Angie, Danny, Chad, Jeremy, John Paul, Jeanie and Joey.
