He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Titus Howard and Mary Irene Haire Howard. He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Bunny" Howard; his children, Otha Ray Howard (Jennifer), Andy Howard (Jessica) and Amy Howard; and his grandchildren, Allison Dare Howard (Dalton Mauck) and Brandon Ray Howard. He is also survived by two sisters; a brother.
