She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Keen and Iler Biby Keen; her husband Lee Grimmett; her son Ervin Grimmett; her siblings, Frankin, Shirl Keen, Framen Keen, Paul Keen, Leslie Keen, Beulah Arrington, Norma Vance, Rinda Osborne and Okey Keen; her son-in-law Paul Shortridge; and her brother-in-law Raymond Perry.

She is survived by : her children, Jerry Lee Grimmett (Teresa) of Paintlick, Velma Taylor (Ronnie) of Cedar Bluff, Phyllis Grimmett of Cedar Bluff, Delores Shortridge of Pounding Mill, Bobbie Grimmett (Stella) of Red Ash, Okey Grimmett (Deanna) of Raven, Michael Grimmett (Michelle) of Paintlick, James Grimmett (Jennifer) of Bandy and Christopher Grimmett (Angel) of Cedar Bluff; her daughter-in-law Debbie Grimmett; and her sister Pauline Perry of Royal Retreat, VA. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
