He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Wallace Clifton, Sr. and Mary Magdaline Wyatt; his siblings, Shirley McGlothlin, Kathy Blankenship, Harold, Curtis, Cecil and Ernest Clifton; and his stepdaughter Charlene Hess.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Jane Wilson Clifton of Raven, VA; his son Keith Clifton of Mooresville, NC; his stepdaughter Tilda Ball (Ikey) of Claypool Hill, VA; his grandchildren, Connor Clifton, Isabella Clifton, Courtney Clifton, Zachary Ball and Casey Ball; his pet Charlie; and his caregivers, Kathy, Alex, Dr. Tawadros and Penny Harman.
