She is survived by : her parents, Clell Dye and Mary Magdaline Mercer Dye of Raven, VA.; her husband William "Bill" Owens; her stepson Curtis Owens; her stepgrandson C. J. Owens; her siblings, Sarah Lawrie of Lebanon, VA and Gary Dye of Wytheville, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Owens, Mike Owens and Vickie Stacy.
