He was predeceased by: his father William C. McClanahan; his brother William McClanahan Jr.; and his great-niece Sophia Lester. He is survived by: his mother Virginia McClanahan (Stiltner); his daughters, Linnea and Lindsay; his son-in-law Aaron; his siblings, Marcus McClanahan and Debbie Hagy; his sisters-in-law, Lisa McClanahan and Ondrea McClanahan; and his siblings' children, William, Sarah, John, Rebekah, Will and Marc.
