With sadness, we share the passing of James Stillwell of Raven, Virginia. James, born on December 3, 1946, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Stillwell and Sally Davis Stillwell; and his siblings, Beatrice, Linda, Belle, Ira, Lundy, Ken, Estil, Emory and Curt.
He is survived by: his brother Tom; his sister-in-law Jean Stillwell; his niece Tonya Baldwin; and his nephew Dr. Luke Stillwell. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Greenhills Memory Gardens (11800 Gov G C Peery Hwy, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609).
