She was predeceased by : her parents, Paris Junior Lester and Fonnie Ethel Horn Lester; her husband William Lee "Bucky" Phillips, Sr.; her siblings, Henry Lester, Garney Lester, Earl Lester, Arnold Lester, Tom Lester, Gladys Payne, Yvonne Kennedy and Jean Compton; and her stepgrandson Philip Diaz.
She is survived by : her daughter Jill Lester of Oakwood, VA; her stepdaughters, Ann Diaz (David) of Hubbard, TX and Jennifer Woods of Fayetteville, NC; her son William Lee "Jack" Phillips, Jr. (Rita) of Patterson, VA; her siblings, Loretta Nickels (Arnie) of Grundy, VA, Norma Oakley Nickels (Doris) of Paterson, VA and Elmer Lester (Wanda) of Garden Creek, VA.; her grandchildren, Zachary Phillips, Courtney Phillips and Jacob Lester; her stepgrandchildren, Andrew Diaz, Chris Kirchner, Ben Kirchner and Audra Mobley; and her close friends, Jean Leonard and Joseph Deel.
