He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cecil and Betty Virginia Sarton Gearhart; and his son Andrew Lawrence Gearhart. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lorraine Gearhart; his children, Adam Gearhart (Helen) of Raven, VA and Sherry Boulden of Raven, VA; and his grandchildren, Jacquelynn Boulden, William Love and Christopher Cherico.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Singleton Funeral and Cremation Service (1116 Cedar Valley Dr, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
