He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kendig "Bobby" Lafoon and Patricia Lafoon "Patsy" Wright; his stepfather Rickie Lee Wright; his grandparents, Elvin Lewis Lafoon, Ladora Daniel Lafoon, William Guy Cheely and Elsie Jones Cheely; and his great-nephew Luke Voss.
He is survived by: his significant other Kimberly Matthews "Kim" Watkins; his sisters, Cynthia Lafoon "Cindy" Carwile (Gene), Teresa Lafoon "Wendy" Barnes (Thomas) and Melinda Lafoon "Mendy" Wayland (Danny); his siblings' children, Claire Voss, Chris Carwile, Alex Barnes, Blake Barnes, Melissa Humphrey and Daniel Wayland; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaiah, Jesse Voss, Jonah, June, James Carwile, Emerson Paksoy, Sadie, Emma and Conway Humphrey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home and Crematory (410 Windsor Ave, Lawrenceville, VA 23868). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Crestview Memorial Park.
