He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Ellyson Clowdis and Frank M. Clowdis; his great grandchild Mateo Negrete; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Clowdis, Ned Clowdis, Nancy Carol Mitchell, Marie Harper, Beth Johnson and Ann Crawley.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Booth Clowdis; his children, Dr. William Glen Clowdis, Jr. of Red House, Dale Clowdis of New York and Candace Clowdis of Red House; his grandchildren, Christopher J. Clowdis, Jacqueline M. Clowdis (Alex Ventura), Jessica A. Clowdis, Rachel A. Clowdis (Gregory Gorman), Angelica C. Negrette (Michael), William G. Clowdis III and Bridgett A. Clowdis; and his great grandchild Leilana A. Clowdis-Ventura. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
