Pearson (Robert "Mike") of Timberlake, NC, Latissha Fields (Lamont) of Lindenwold, NJ, Shannon Boyd-Robinson (Kevin) of High Point, NC, Marcus Traman Boyd (Hollister) of Clayton, NC and Marquita Boyd of Chase City, VA; his siblings, Mary Craighead of Red Oak, VA, Annie Sneed-Godfrey (Daryl) of Morristown, NJ, Shelba Sneed Bush (Keith) of Newark, NJ, Vernon Boyd (Meshell) of Red Oak, VA and David Sneed of Newark, NJ; his aunt Mable Boyd of Washington, D. C.; and his close friend Clara Bacon. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Giles-Harris Funeral Home (1304 N Main St, Chase City, VA 23924). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Level Baptist Church. A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at the St. Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
