Flora Jett Saunders Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Flora Jett Saunders of Reedville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband H. C. Saunders, Jr.; her parents, Bert Jett and Bea Jett; and her brother Fletcher "Sonny" Jett. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Saunders Lewis and Christopher Clay Saunders; her grandchildren, Maegan Lewis Poad (Billy), Brennon, Collin, Carson and Layton Saunders; her great grandchild Allison Mae Poad; her sister Polly Hinton; her nieces, Kim Onder (Jeff) and Stacey Kitchen (Stephan); her nephew Robb Hinton (Jennifer); and her brother-in-law Billy Saunders (Diane). She is also survived by her husband's nieces and nephews.
