She was predeceased by: her parents, Captain Morrison Spriggs and Lottie Whittaker. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Emory Lewis; her sons, Wallace Emory Lewis III (Julie) and Turner Lewis (Burns); and her grandchildren, Emory, Taylor Lewis, Morrison, Burns Scott and Wallis Lewis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
