He is survived by: his children, Teresa LaRue (Timmy) and Nathaniel Long; his grandchildren, Matthew Fisher (June), Joshua Long (Amanda), Jonathan Long (Kyleigh), Rhylie, Gemma, Phoebe Long and Thomas McIntyre; and his great grandchildren, Austin Fisher, Lorelei, Luna, Levi and Salem Long.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (454 Main St, Reedville, VA 22539).
