He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ellis and Jean Marie Garner Key; his siblings, George Key (Margie), Roy Key (Anna), Brenda Fitzgerald, Marlene Marie Key, Richard Key (Peewee) and Wesley'Cotton'Key; and his grandson Jonathan Michael Tunnell.
He is survived by: his wife Annie T. Key; his children, Jeffrey Tunnell, Sr., Stephanie A. Key and Preston L. Key; his grandchildren, Melanie Tunnell, Jessica Oyarzo, Jeffrey Tunnell, Jr., Destiny Key, Elizabeth Tunnell, Megan Key, Madison Tunnell, Logan Tunnell, Alyssa Key and Delaynee Key; and his siblings, Ronald Key (Thelma), Sharon Hensley (Raymond), Randall "Buddy" Key (Lorraine), Steve Key (Donalynn), Rhonda "Pippy" Meadows (David) and Connie Mullenax (Tom). He is also survived by 15 Great- Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
