Shirley leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Shirley will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her children, Arselle Hazzard Hale (Frederick Ennis Hale) and Virginia. She is survived by: her husband E. Garrison Hart, Jr. of Hartfield; her daughter Sharon Hart Winters; and her son-in-law Peter Winters of Glen Allen. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home (15 C F Edwards Ln, Saluda, VA 23149). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
