With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Simpson Hines of Rescue, Virginia, who passed away on June 30, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest M. Hines and Dorothy B. Hines of Rescue, VA.; his wife Paula; his daughters, Bobbi Lynn Perkins (Gerald), Teresa Ross and Sheryl Goodwin; his stepson Timothy Hancock; his brother George Melvin Hines, Sr. (Sharon); his sister-in-law Harriet Hines (late Paul); and his grandchildren, Thomas (Hallie), Anthony (Kayla), Timothy (Christina) and Cassandra (Lucas). He was also cherished by five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
