He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Cumnock Sr. and Lois T. Cumnock; his parents-in-law, Ward and Laverne Lester; and his brother-in-law James Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah L. Cumnock; and his nieces, Jayme White and Leah Lester.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Adams-Green Funeral Home (721 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery (831 Dranesville Rd, Herndon, VA 20170).
