He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Sterling and Nellie Sterling; and his siblings, Mary Louise Bussabarger, Robert Sterling and Walter Sterling.
He is survived by : his wife Margo Sterling; his daughters, Anastasia Trenholm (Chris) of Princeton, NJ and Pamela Carroll of Lynchburg, VA.; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Isabel, Nick, Emalia and Tyler.
