She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Scanlan; her parents, Matthew T. Bennett and Ellen J. Bennett; her stepfather Moses "Moe" Kantrowitz; and her brother William Bennett Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Scanlan, Maureen Scanlan and Kathleen Epperson (Rick Sr.); her grandchildren, Kara Epperson, Amanda Cattolica, Rick Epperson Jr., Madeline Epperson, Ethan Epperson and Michael Quintana; her great grandchildren, Owen Daniel, Noelle Christine, Evelyn Lisa, Oliver Daniel and Addison Meagan; and her brothers, Michael Bennett and Matthew T. Bennett Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams-Green Funeral Chapel (721 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170).
