In the sacred silence of farewell, Phyllis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chalmer E. Trotter and Winifred Trotter (Heath); her husband Edward G. Kosut; and her brother Stewart Trotter. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen L (Andrew Greger) of Oak Hill, VA and Timothy of Henderson, NV.; her granddaughters, Amanda Greger and Abby Greger; and her sister-in-law Betty Trotter. She is also survived by 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc. (1204 17th St, Altoona, PA 16601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
