He is survived by: his brother Eldridge Adolphus Payne, Sr.; his former wife Barbara A. Payne; his wife Pier A. Haythe-Payne; his daughter Teshia; and his grandchildren, Kelonte and Maillia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
