He is survived by: his wife Lois Jean Gallihugh Nicholson; his children, Deborah Nicholson Dean (David), Rhoda Crosue (Butch) and Bobby Lee Nicholson (Tracy Stovall); his siblings, Jimmy Wayne Nicholson, Peggy Ann Brown and Sue Dodson; his grandchildren, Bobby Dwayne Nicholson and Michaela Danielle Dean; his sister Meaghan Nicole Dean; and his great grandchildren, Riley Nicholson, Harper Nicholson and Oakley Nicholson.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Etlan Cemetery (230 Church Hill Rd, Etlan, VA 22719).
