He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Alonzo Hartford and Leona Baker Hartford; his son Todd Roger Hartford; and his siblings, Louise Wentworth and Ernie Hartford.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Z. Hartford; his daughters, Annette Rooney (Brian) of Rhode Island, Valerie Hartford of North Carolina and Bethany Hartford of Virginia; and his nieces, Marcia Hall and Sylvia Peare. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
