Darlene Clemons Gautier Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 82, Darlene Clemons Gautier of Rich Creek, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Clemons and Ella Jane Perdue Clemons; her husband Bobby Lee Gautier; and her siblings, Curtis, Marvin, Buddy, Claude, Jackie Clemons, Thelma Suddith, Vada Cline, Charlotte Scott and Jeanette Thornton.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Gautier (Sherry), Sheri Smith (Todd), Lisa Young (Mark) and Cindy Gautier (Steve Chafin); her grandchildren, Drew Smith (Hollie), Trevor Smith (Kayla), Haley Ferguson (Wes), Ethan Young (Jordyn Johnson), Matthew Gillispie (Kendal Sell) and Alex Gillispie (Reagan); her great grandchildren, Kieryn, Anduin, Emma and Easton Smith; her son-in-law Brian Gillispie; her caregivers, Linda Allen and Donna Jones; and her close friend Alvin McGuire. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (111 Market St, Peterstown, WV 24963). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations to be made in memory of Darlene Clemons Gautier to the Giles Lifesaving and Rescue Squad, 175 Industrial Park Drive, Pearisburg, VA, 24134 or the Narrows Athletic Fund, PO Box 114, Narrows, VA, 24124.
