He was predeceased by: his parents, Josiah "J. H." Cooper and Tollie Ferrell Cooper; and his brothers, Henry Cooper, Creed Cooper and Johnny Cooper.
He is survived by: his cousin Larry Cooper of Pineville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home (1612 Honaker Ave, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
