He is survived by: his siblings, Henry White, Bailey White, Naomi Bales, Dorothy Vance, Lorraine Bales, Opal Coleman, Helen Lyons, June McCoy, Jean Longworth and Joan Umble; his wife Betty Sue Wells White; his granddaughter Amber White Schlobohm; his great grandchild Maddie Schlobohm; his children, Connie Brown (Charlie) of Abingdon, VA, Jennifer Brown (Pat) of Cedar Bluff, VA and Joe White (Ann) of Max Meadows, VA.; his granddaughter Rachel Brown Riley (Wes) of Chilhowie, VA.; and his great grandchildren, Amelia Schlobohm of Kingsport, TN and Kaiser Schlobohm of Blountville, TN.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
