He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred M. Tatum and Lola Emily Tatum; his brothers, Clinton Fredrick Tatum, Carl Tatum, Earl Tatum and Clarence Tatum; his nephew Roger Tatum; and his children-in-law, Angie Rose Tatum and Larry Mitchell.
He is survived by : his wife Juanita Maxwell Tatum of Whitewood, VA; his children, Debbie Mitchell of Cedar Bluff, VA and Freddie Tatum of Pilgrims Knob, VA; his granddaughters, Emili Grace Tatum of Pilgrims Knob, VA and Holli Shana Hicks (Cory) of Folkston, GA; and his great grandchildren, William Jace Hicks and Tatum Rose Hicks.
