She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Poe Ratliff and Eva Harmon Ratliff; her husband Curtis Calvin Keene; and her siblings, Jaynelle "Subby" Peak, Joann Street, Peggy Alsbrook, Ernie, Bernard, Raymond and Lawrence Ratliff.
She is survived by: her children, Nita Marie Lawson of Thomasville, NC, Tracie Lee Meadows (Gregory) of Bandy, VA, Paulette Oder (Charles) of Richlands, VA and Curtis Wayne Keene of Thomasville, NC; her sister Shirley Hampton of Belfast, VA; and her grandchildren, Curtis Lawson, Jeannie Hogue, Juanita Hale, Kevin Meadows, Shannah Nichols and Jordan Rose. She is also survived by Four Great Grandchildren, Two Great-Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to local animal shelter.
