He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Barbara Sue Ball (Randy) of Red Ash, VA and James Dye Jr. (Pamela) of Raven, VA; his sister Irene Johnson of Rosedale, VA; his sons-in-law, Lacey Cordle and Russell Miller; his grandchildren, Wesley Ball, Lee Miller, Tyler Miller, Aaron Dye, Shaneesa Booker, Taelyn Dye, Jennifer Morris, Debra Hackworth and Beth Horne; and his great grandchildren, Jaxton, Isabella, Colton, Lucas, Arabella, Haleigh, Bella, Carson, Ryleigh, Izander, Kairie, Olivia, Hannah, Landon, Abigail, Seth, Levi, Logan, Londyn, Brystol, Brittyn, Jack, Willow and Octavian. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
