She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Taylor and Helen Gillespie Mullen; her husband William Brittain Russ; her former husband Joseph W.; her siblings, Judy Wnoroski (David) and Claude T. "Buzz" Mullen, Jr.; and her son Jeffrey W. Altizer.

She is survived by: her sons, Joseph W. "Joey" Altizer II (Tracy) of Roanoke, VA, John W. Altizer (Oyuna) of Macau and Jeremy W. Altizer of Richlands; her grandchildren, Kaelie, Hannah, Bobby, Johnny and Priscilla; and her niece Kimberly Robbins.

In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made in Pris's honor to JDRF or the American Cancer Society.
