He was predeceased by : his parents, Harrison T. Cook and Rachel Keen Cook of Richlands, Virginia.; his wife Betty Neel Cook; and his siblings, Paul (Dickie), Lon, John Cook, Gladys Bandy, Genoa Johnson and Viola Hughes.
He is survived by : his son Richard Jessee of Blountville, TN; his granddaughter Victoria Roach of Glendale, AZ; and his great grandchildren, William Roach of Glendale, AZ. and Callen Roach of Glendale, AZ.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 402 Suffolk Ave, Richlands, VA 24641 and the Good Samaritan Food Pantry, PO Box 523, Richlands, VA 2461.
