She is survived by: her husband Lawrence "Homer" Nelson of Richlands, VA; her children, Carly Shrader (Josh) of Hubert, NC and Jeremy Nelson (Shannon) of Claypool Hill, VA; her sister Belinda Lankford of Iron Station, NC; and her granddaughters, Ava Nelson and Autumn Artrip.
