He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Shortt, Sr. and Irene Brown Shortt; his grandson Jake C. Horn; and his brother Ellis Shortt, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Fisher Shortt; his daughters, Sherrie Horn (Scott) of Hollywood, MD and Amanda Shortt of Richlands, VA; his stepson Jimmy Fisher; his great grandchildren, Leighton Horn and Ella Shores Furry; and his grandson Buddy The.
