He is survived by: his daughter Deana Elizabeth; his siblings, Ursel Keene, Nancy Gillespie, Joann Ingersoll, Shirley Keene, Darlene Kennedy, Bill Keene, Raymond Elswick and Betty Schwartz-Pulley; his wife Ann Childress Keene; his daughters, Lisa McGlothlin (Keith) and Ollena Jackson (Patrick); his son-in-law Bob Vandyke; his grandchildren, Jason Hale (Judy), Tim McGlothlin (Mary), Jonathan Horne (Aubry), Kalida Custalow (Matthew), Kelsey Massengill, Rocky Massengill and Autumn Castle (Hayden); his great grandchildren, Cory Hale, Kaci Hale, Haydyn Hale, Braelyn Massengill, Gunner and Grayson McGlothlin; his sister Della Burnette (Jim); his sisters-in-law, Gay Elswick and Elsie Keene; and his niece Judy Blevins (Anthony).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home (1401 2nd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
