She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holler and Mary Holler; her husband Albert Edward Vassar; and her siblings, Florence Wisniewski, Marion Brennan and John J. Holler.
She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth Holler of Harrington Park, NJ; her children, Mary Ann Vassar (LJ Meyers) of Landrum, SC, John Vassar (Jennifer Wampler) of Richmond, VA, Vivian Ellen Vassar (Mark Semanchik) of Staten Island, NY and Jane Nieberg (Harry) of Brooklyn, NY.; her grandchildren, Ned Sessa (Mahina Kahalewale), Jack Meyers, Virginia Vassar, Flora Vassar (Christopher Camp), Emmet Vassar, Ray Vassar Semanchik (Sarah), Louis Vassar Semanchik, Delia Vassar Semanchik and Patricia Nieberg; her great grandchildren, Kamana and Lunr Malino Sessa Kahalewale; and her cousin Richard Lalime. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Aileen was also a member of the Seton Associates, helping to carry out the mission of the Sisters of Charity of St Elizabeth, for the last twenty-five years.
