Alice Lee Childress Obituary

We announce the death of Alice Lee Childress of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 85. Alice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Childress; and her grandson Matthew Spiller. She is survived by: her children, Donna Childress, Rebecca Ulloa (René), Dennis Spiller (Terry) and Benny Spiller (Lori); her grandchildren, Donnie (Della), Danielle, Abigail (Marissa), Clay (Katie), Nicholas (Terena), Christine (James), Courtney (Jeff), Chandler (Mason), Tavis (Meghan) and Catherine (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Caydon, Dylan, Colton, Devin, Baker, Greyson, Finley, Asher, Charlie and Lincoln. She is also survived by companion, DAC; along with many extended family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Alice's memory.
