She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bray and Jodie Bray; her siblings, Wayne, Horace, James and Frances; her husband Heard; her son Jerry (Margaret); and her great grandchild Trey Barden.

She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Barden (Ryland) of Chesterfield and Martha Proffitt (Gary) of Wilson, NC. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Flowers are welcomed, and memorial donations to Richmond's First Baptist Church are appreciated.
