He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Jackson and Fannie Jackson; and his siblings, Richard, Robert Roger, Elmer, Walter Jackson and Barbara Dent.

He is survived by: his wife Carlotta B. Jackson; his children, LaToya M. Jackson-Wilson (Troy) and Andrew "AJ" E. Jackson, II; his stepgrandsons, Breion, Troy II and Allen Wilson; and his siblings, Frances Dillard and James Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
